Cluster mini-reunion far from Yale

Project: Three adjacent classes (’69, ’70, and ’71) held the first ever cluster mini-reunion that was not in New Haven. This cost-efficient afternoon/evening event (including a reception at an historic home) anchored a plan-your-own-weekend for those who were out-of-towners. Holding multiple pre-reunion Class get-togethers (“Preunions”)

Project:  Class leadership invited classmates to host parties in their homes across the country for other classmates in their area. Class leadership then helped coordinate 9 get-togethers, one of which was a museum tour. Yale Club enhances speaker series by partnering with local university

Project:  Regional Club (the Yale Alumni Association of the Northwest – YAANW) enhances its long running speaker series on environmental sustainability by partnering with the local engineering school (the College of Engineering at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN). The University of St.Thomas (UST) provided the venue and underwriting, and created synergies for driving attendance. Yale Club abroad enhances Yale/China Student Exchange program

Project:  A Yale Club in Shenzhen, China, annually arranges a day-trip for visiting Yale students along with local Chinese students, to leading Chinese companies. All the students are part of a regular exchange program between Yale and Lingnan (University) College in China, organized in part by Yale-China. Athletic SIG holds Special Dinner/ Fundraiser in Honor of Beloved Coach
