This website is a knowledge-base of programs, projects and events organized by alumni volunteers of the Yale Alumni Association (YAA). Begun in 2019, this compilation is a project of the Volunteer Leadership Committee of the YAA Board of Governors. Most entries have won a YAA Board of Governors Excellence Award.

Each has been indexed under multiple categories, so you can find programs that suite your needs. Entries can also be found by searching for words they contain.

Project origins (a) include the Excellence Awards themselves (begun in 2010), (b) short descriptions of the winners prepared by the YAA Awards Committee (archived on the YAA website, starting in 2011, under Alison Brody ’95, then Chair of the Awards Committee), and (c) pilot case studies of select alumni volunteer-run programs prepared for the website of the Yale Global Alumni Leadership Exchange and categorized for searching (created, designed, and edited by Ben Slotznick ’70, ’73 Dra in 2012, some of which have been edited for use in this compilation).
