Metrics

“Metrics” are the important numbers to count with respect to an event or project. They depend not only on the project, but on what the project organizers want to accomplish. Here are some examples.

  • Attendees/participants (alumni, classmates, teammates, guests, students),
  • Volunteers (individuals, hours)
  • Social medial flow (posts, reposts, likes, followers, views, clicks)
  • Recurrences (repeats, years, follow-ups)
  • Funds (money required, dollars raised, surpluses sustained, being revenue neutral can be a metric too)
